Welcome to Fashion & Fabrics. These Terms & Conditions apply whenever you visit our website or buy from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Exchange Policy.

About us

This website is operated by Fashion & Fabrics, based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. Our store is hosted on Shopify.

Using our website

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or use the website with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • Please give us accurate and complete information when you create an account or place an order. You are responsible for keeping your account login safe.
  • You agree not to misuse the website. This includes trying to hack it, copying it with bots or scrapers, placing fake or fraudulent orders, or using it for anything unlawful.

Products and product images

  • Our chikankari pieces are embroidered by hand. Small differences in embroidery, thread work, colour or finish are natural and are not defects.
  • We do our best to show colours accurately, but they may look slightly different depending on your screen and on lighting during photography.
  • Please check the size chart before ordering. Measurements can vary slightly, by about 0.5–1 inch, because each piece is handmade.
  • All products depend on availability. We may change or discontinue any product at any time.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
  • We may change prices at any time. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
  • All orders are prepaid. You can pay online by UPI, debit or credit card, netbanking or wallets through our secure payment partner, Razorpay. We do not offer Cash on Delivery.
  • If a product is listed at a wrong price because of a mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after payment.

Orders and cancellations

  • Your order is confirmed once payment is successful and you receive an order confirmation.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order if a product is out of stock, if there is a listing or pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. In that case we will refund any amount paid in full.
  • You can cancel an order only before it is dispatched, as explained in our Refund & Exchange Policy.
  • We may limit quantities per customer and may decline bulk or resale orders.

Shipping, exchanges and refunds

Offers, discount codes and gift cards

  • Offers and discount codes are valid only for the stated period and conditions. They cannot be exchanged for cash and usually cannot be combined.
  • We may change or withdraw an offer at any time.
  • Gift cards and store credit can be used on our website only and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Reviews and content you share

When you send us a review, photo, video or message, or tag us on social media, you allow us to use it on our website and social media to promote Fashion & Fabrics. Please do not post anything false, offensive or unlawful. We may remove any content at our discretion.

Intellectual property

All content on this website belongs to Fashion & Fabrics or is used with permission, and may not be copied or used for commercial purposes without our written permission. This includes our logo, photos, banners, designs and text.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep our website accurate and running smoothly, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or available. To the extent permitted by law, Fashion & Fabrics is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our products. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Delays outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our control. These include natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, government restrictions and technical failures.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Before taking any formal action, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue with you first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Continuing to use the website means you accept the updated terms.
